This is the true story of one woman's against all odds journey to becoming a professional football player. It all felt simple enough, or at least it did in 2019, enter 2020. It became a journey through twists and turns, unexpected delays, and unimaginable obstacles. It travels from the depths of despair of 2020 to playing in a men's professional football league. It is a story filled with a darkness that seemed to follow her along her path like a shadow in the night. It is fraught with lies, manipulation, fraud, arrest warrants, politics, racism, and sexism. But most importantly it is a story of a relentless pursuit to motivate, inspire and have a positive impact in this world. The path less travelled is rarely an easy one, and this path would come at a cost.
